Nicky Payne
Partner - Treaty Reinsurance

Nicky is a Partner in our Treaty Reinsurance team focusing on delivering ILS solutions across the full value chain and supporting our retro and reinsurance teams.
Nicky worked in senior reinsurance broking roles in London for Aon and Alexander Howden for 25+ years before transitioning to the ILS sector in 2013. Nicky became the Head of Origination in London for the Credit Suisse ILS operations, before taking a leading role in the structuring ,set-up and underwriting of an fully backed ILS Lloyd’s syndicate. Nicky was CUO and Active Underwriter of the multi-class syndicate.
If Nicky was not working for McGill and Partners, she would be found at the stables enjoying her horses.
