Piers Cantlay
Partner - Treaty Reinsurance

Piers is a Partner in our Treaty Reinsurance team, specialising in global catastrophe and risk programmes. He is helping with the development of the reinsurance team by assisting with recruiting the right talent, product design, marketing strategies and revenue generation.
Piers worked for 40 years at Aon and its predecessor broking companies. He was predominantly a producing broker working on accounts such as AxaXL, QBE, Liberty, Transatlantic Re, Odyssey Re and a number of Lloyd’s Syndicates. He was CEO of the GRS team for 20 years and retired at the end of 2019.
If Piers was not working for McGill and Partners, he would be travelling the world playing all the great golf courses, reacquainting with old friends, visiting all the great cities and countries not yet seen, getting fit and healthy whilst spending more time with his family.
