Steve Gillespie
Partner - Renewables, Power and Energy

Steve is a Partner in our Renewables, Power and Energy team focusing on downstream energy with emphasis on placing integrated oil, gas, petrochemical and mid-stream business.
Steve has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, starting his career at Marsh & McLennan. He subsequently joined United Insurance Brokers, following a management buy-out, which developed Steve into a role of Divisional Director placing International Property and Oil and Gas business. In 2010, Steve joined Willis, exclusively placing Downstream Energy business working on multiline package placements. He further developed his career and became Head of Broking for Willis Towers Watson Downstream Natural Resources dealing with all types of energy business – Oil and Gas, Power, Mining and Renewables.
If Steve was not working for McGill and Partners, he would like to travel and play the top 100 golf courses in the world.
