Caroline Thorogood
Partner - Facultative Reinsurance

Caroline is a Partner in our Facultative Reinsurance team, focusing on overseeing and guiding the operational and broker support functions for the European Facultative team.
Caroline brings 35 years of experience in the treaty reinsurance industry. In the last 25 years, she has been working in facultative reinsurance, mainly in the operational space. Fluent in French and Spanish, Caroline has worked in the principal territories of Latin America, Japan and Europe. In her most recent role, she was responsible for steering the European placements, as regards to regulation and legislation, since Brexit.
If Caroline was not working for McGill and Partners, she would be travelling around Europe in a luxury campervan.
