Claire Goodwin

Claire is our General Counsel, responsible for all legal matters affecting the firm, along with the company secretarial function.
Claire brings more than fifteen years’ experience as a (re)insurance lawyer, having trained and qualified at international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills. She made the move into the broking industry following a client secondment and was principal legal adviser to JLT Speciality Limited before joining McGill and Partners in September 2019.
If she wasn’t working with McGill and Partners, Claire would probably be running a holiday business in Norfolk.
