David Townsend
Partner - Facultative Reinsurance

David is a Partner in our Facultative Reinsurance team, and is responsible for production, placement and marketing of Global Property accounts, with a key focus on Mining, Heavy Industry and Power.
David has twenty-two years’ experience within the London Market, starting his career at Marsh in 1998. David later moved on to work for Guy Carpenter in 2000 for twelve years, followed by a move to Aon Benfield, where he worked for a further five years before returning to Guy Carpenter. David predominantly works on large, complex multi-layered accounts.
If David was not working for McGill and Partners, he would be travelling the world scuba diving.
