Guy Thurlow
Partner - Renewables, Power and Energy

Guy is a Partner in our Renewables, Power & Energy team, with a special focus on Nuclear business.
Guy started his insurance career in 1989 at Lloyd’s initially with the FR White Syndicate and then with XL Brockbank. From an original focus on Property and Casualty Treaty, Guy moved to Facultative Property, Power and Down Stream Energy. In 2000 he joined the broker Prentis Donegan, which became Price Forbes & Partners, where he worked in Power and Energy, setting up the Terrorism & Political Violence book immediately after 9/11. In 2019 Guy took over the Nuclear portfolio and became Chairman of the Special Risks Division. Guy is ACII, CIB and a PCP.
If Guy was not working for McGill and Partners he would hope to be playing a salmon in a Scottish river.
