Hugo Ellis
Partner - Financial Lines

Hugo is a Partner in our Financial Lines team, specialising in the negotiation and placement of substantial D&O, professional indemnity and crime policies for major global financial institutions.
Prior to joining McGill and Partners, Hugo spent eight years at Willis Towers Watson, most recently as Head of Financial Institutions Broking. Before joining the insurance industry, Hugo spent six years as a professional rugby player for London Wasps, NG Dragons and as captain of England u18, u19 and u20s.
If Hugo was not with McGill and Partners, he would probably be giving Gary Neville a run for his money as a TV sports pundit or journalist.
