Gary Barnett
Partner - Facultative Reinsurance

Gary is a Partner in our Facultative team, with a primary focus on power, mining and heavy industry risks.
Gary’s most recent role was head of Property Retro and Network business at Guy Carpenter. Previously, he was with Aon Benfield leading the Property International and Power team. Prior to this, Gary was again at Guy Carpenter responsible for setting up a new Joint Venture between Guy Carpenter and Marsh across the property segment of the US, International & Power areas of the business. Before joining Guy Carpenter in London, Gary spent over ten years in Australia, where his last role was heading up the Facultative team in Australia and New Zealand.
If Gary were not working at McGill and Partners, he would spend more time with his family and travel.
