Lowri Ch’ng

Lowri Ch’ng

Associate - Renewables, Power and Energy

London, UK

Lowri is an Associate Risk Engineer in our Renewables, Energy and Power team. She will be primarily focused on offshore wind projects.

Lowri joined McGill and Partners in January 2024 after starting her professional career within the engineering consultancy industry at Ramboll. Her background as a design engineer focused on fixed-bottom offshore wind turbine foundations including monopiles and jacket substructures. Prior to this, she studied a MSc in Renewable Energy Technologies and a BEng in Aerospace Engineering. She gained extensive experimental experience within wind tunnels and published several academic papers on improving aerodynamic performance of wind and tidal turbine blades.

If Lowri was not working for McGill and Partners, she would be in the garden tending to her plants and spending her evenings at the roller disco.

“I joined McGill and Partners to be involved with a variety of renewable energy projects, to get an insight of the broader picture and understand the risks associated with this rapidly evolving sector.”
