David Smith
Partner - Head of Hull and Marine Liabilities

David is our Head of Marine Hull and Liability, running a team of dedicated maritime infrastructure specialists and ensuring that our marine clients receive our highest level of service.
David has worked for thirty-three years as a placing broker in the London market, specialising in the Marine Market. He has worldwide experience of all aspects of Marine Insurance including Hull, P & I and Marine liability. He is the only insurance broker to date who is also an associate of the International Salvage Union.
If he wasn’t working with McGill and Partners, David would probably be mountain biking.
