Cecilie Pedersen
Partner – Renewables, Power and Energy

Cecilie is a Partner in our Renewables, Power and Energy team, focusing on offshore wind.
Cecilie joined McGill and Partners at the beginning of January 2022 from Norwegian Hull Club where she was an underwriter in the Energy team writing construction and operational insurance in the offshore energy and offshore wind sector. She was responsible for developing and growing NHCs offshore windfarm portfolio from 5 to 45 windfarms, and has experience of technical underwriting, EML analysis, deductible buy-downs, contractual reviews and claims, including several high-profile floating offshore wind farms. Cecilie also has experience of working with contractors and assisting with the day-to-day operations for Norwegian Hull Club’s two largest drilling contractors. Cecilie is a Master of Maritime Law graduate with a LLB in Law and Business Studies.
If Cecilie was not working for McGill and Partners, she would be travelling around Africa volunteering at local schools to develop new skills and experiences with the community.
